Election-night totals are unofficial. The count becomes official in two steps:
- Local: County circuit court clerks — by about November 16, 2026. By noon on the second Monday after the election.
- Statewide: Secretary of state — November 24, 2026 on the 2026 calendar. By noon on the last Tuesday in November.
