The House Select Subcommittee to Investigate the Remaining Questions Surrounding January 6, 2021 is a select subcommittee of the House of Representatives. It is chaired by Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), with Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) as ranking member. Like every congressional committee, it does the detailed work the full chamber cannot: holding hearings, marking up bills in its jurisdiction before they reach the floor, and overseeing the executive-branch agencies it covers.
